”I cant say MTV was a creation of Michael Nesmith, but its near it” ”Pittman and fellow MTV co-founder John Lack used the success of Nesmith’s PopClips program to help sell the idea for a 24-hour music channel to the Warner Bros. board of directors. Pittman is considered the ”architect” who took the initial idea and brought it to fruition as the network we know today.
