The Uncle Floyd Podcast
Step into the wonderfully offbeat world of show business with Scott Gordon — longtime “second banana,” engineer, and trusted sidekick to the legendary late Uncle Floyd Vivino.
With more than 60 years in entertainment, Scott has seen (and survived) just about everything the business can throw at you. From nearly three decades on the television classic The Uncle Floyd Show to his work in radio and live performance, he brings stories, insight, and hard-earned wisdom to every episode. Mentored by the one he affectionately called “The Genius,” Les Paul, Scott is also an accomplished guitarist in his own right — and a born storyteller.
Each episode, Scott answers your questions about anything and everything showbiz — the triumphs, the chaos, the legends, and the laughs.
Over the years, fans of The Uncle Floyd Show included icons like The Ramones, Paul Simon, David Bowie — who once called Uncle Floyd “one of the best barrelhouse piano players I’ve ever heard” — Iggy Pop, and John Lennon, among many others.
You never know who might be listening right along with you.

How Many People Can Say...
...that David Bowie wrote a song about them (listen to Slip Away from his HEATHEN album)?
...that they had a TV show where they gave many well known entertainers their first television exposure (Bon Jovi, The Stray Cats, The Smithereens, Dramarama, Cyndi Lauper, and many others)?
Uncle Floyd can say all of that and more!
Join Uncle Floyd and his long-time friend and co-star, Scott Gordon, as they chat, reminisce, telling all the deep, dark, hidden stories of what it was like. They will joke around as well.
And, by the way, Scott Gordon is a musician, voice actor, audio engineer, and entertainment technology consultant. Scott learned electronics, recording, and even some guitar at the side of the legendary Les Paul from the time he was 14.
